This policy explains what begumabet.net does with data when you read it. The site is a single reference page about the Beguma Bet betting platform in Ethiopia: it publishes what the platform states about itself, and it neither takes bets nor holds player balances. Nothing here gives us access to any account you may hold with that platform.

1. Who runs this site

begumabet.net is run independently of the Beguma Bet platform. We are not the operator, not its agent and not its payment processor. Questions about a betting account, a deposit through telebirr or a withdrawal must go to the platform's own support desk, because we cannot see or change anything on it. 2. What we collect

There is no registration on this site, no login form and no field where you could type a name, a phone number or a birr amount. What reaches us is what any web server records: the IP address the request came from, the time, the page requested, the referring page if the browser sends one, and the browser and operating system string. These entries sit in the server log of the machine that serves the page.

3. Cookies

The page itself sets no cookies of its own. It carries no analytics tag, no advertising pixel and no social widget. Cookies you may still see belong to the network layer described in section 4, or to a site you visit after leaving this one.

4. Cloudflare

Traffic to begumabet.net passes through Cloudflare, which filters automated scrapers and serves the images. Cloudflare places a technical cookie used to tell one visitor from another for security purposes, and it processes the connection metadata it needs for that. Cloudflare acts as our processor and publishes its own privacy terms.

5. Links to the betting platform

The buttons marked Log In and Create Account, and the two store badges, lead to the Beguma Bet platform through a tracking link. Following one tells the tracking service that the visit came from this site, so that the platform can attribute it. We do not learn who you are from that, and we receive no report tying a click to a person, a phone number or a deposit.

6. Why we may process this data

Server logs and the Cloudflare security layer exist to keep the site reachable and to stop abuse. Under the GDPR that is a legitimate interest, weighed against the fact that the data is limited to connection metadata and is never used to build a profile. We do not rely on consent, because we ask for none and set no cookie that would need it.

7. How long anything is kept

Server log entries are rotated and overwritten within a short retention window on the hosting machine. Cloudflare keeps its security data for the period stated in its own documentation. We keep no separate database of visitors, so there is nothing to delete beyond those two layers.

8. Who else sees it

We sell nothing and share nothing for marketing. The only parties with technical access are the hosting provider that runs the server and Cloudflare. A lawful order from a competent authority would be answered within what the law requires.

9. Where data is handled

The server and the network layer are located outside Ethiopia, so reading this page involves an international transfer of the connection metadata described above. Cloudflare relies on standard contractual clauses for such transfers.

10. Rights under the GDPR

If the GDPR covers you, you may ask what we hold, ask for a correction, ask for erasure, ask us to restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and complain to a supervisory authority. Because the site stores no identifier that points at a person, an access request will usually be answered with the log entries matching an IP address you supply and nothing more.

11. Rights under the CCPA and CPRA

California residents may ask what categories of personal information were collected, ask for deletion, ask for correction, and opt out of any sale or sharing. We have never sold or shared personal information as those laws define it, and there is no separate mechanism to opt out of something that does not happen. Exercising any of these rights will not change what you see on the site.

12. Age, changes and contact

This site is written for adults. It is not aimed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly process data from a minor.
